3 of them went to the Colts tight end Dwayne Allen, who had just 2 TDs entering the Monday Night Football game. In the 1st quarter on 2nd down and goal, rookie linebacker Darron Lee followed the wrong tight end Jack Doyle who was going in motion, even though Doyle was going to be covered by Darrelle Revis on his side of the field. Andrew threw to the wide open Dwayne for the score. Allen was open once again on a post route with no Jets player in sight for his 2nd TD. And for his 3rd TD, the tight end beat Lee for 23 yards up the middle. The rookie linebacker was not prepared mentally for this game.

Gang Green was just dominated in the 1st half by Indianapolis. The Colts had 268 of total offense compared to 115 for New York, which helped them to have a 24-3 lead at halftime. By the end of the game, the Colts had 421 yards; the Jets had 250.

”I thought for the first time this year, we got our asses handed to us. That’s very disappointing.” said head coach Todd Bowles.

In a game between 2 AFC teams, Bowles was embarrassed by how his defense performed on Prime Time TV. With this blowout loss at home, Gang Green was officially eliminated from the playoffs.
